Teaching and Research Interests
Professor Huixia Yang has been engaged in perinatal medicine for decades, her main focus has been on the diagnosis, management, and prevention of metabolic syndrome in the context of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). The Yang lab is the Beijing Key Laboratory of Maternal-Fetal Medicine of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. And she has had cooperations with some labs in the Chinese Academy of Science for many years.
Career Publication Summary
Prof. Yang has published more than 750 papers in national and international peer reviewed journals (most as either primary or senior author) and been invited to contribute more than 50 authoritative editorials, book chapters and reviews in the field. Furthermore, the publications are widely quoted. And she is also editorial board member or peer reviewer for some international journals.
